Ruby

Some does just stand out in the herd and Ruby is one of them.  Her daughters include Chervil and Willow. Ruby has a very calm, gentle personality. She is a very long bodied doe with a wonderful top line. and the dam of our senior herd side.  Her linear appraisal  score of an excellent udder really pleased us. It is tightly and smoothly attached with such a wide side udder attachment. She is a long, level and deep bodied doe with an excellent spring of rib. She exemplifies the type of Nubians we like best.  She is a dear gentle soul and passes that wonderful personality on to her kids. She is a late maturing doe. Be prepared for kids to look slab sided for two to three years. This doe line is very leggy and does not fill out until year four or five. Ruby milks like a son of a gun.  Ruby will be pen bred this fall in October.
